What this site provides
Here you will find general service information about chemical waste collection and disposal (including laboratory and industrial chemicals and chemical spill clean-up), together with contact routes and enquiry forms. We may review what you submit and pass the enquiry on to a third-party contractor, supplier or service provider we consider may suit the work.
Office hours and emergencies
We are normally open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm. Outside those times, we may be available for emergency work if a suitable supplier is in a position to respond. An emergency enquiry carries no guarantee of immediate attendance. In the meantime you should take appropriate safety, environmental and site-control steps while you wait to hear back from a supplier.
Status of the information published here
Pages on this site give general service information only. Nothing on them is waste-classification, health and safety, environmental, regulatory, legal, engineering, insurance or tax advice. Part 2: Introductions and suppliers
Our role is to connect
Chemical Waste Disposal acts as a connector. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we do not transport waste, do not provide regulated disposal, cleaning, drainage, tank, silo or industrial services ourselves through this website, do not operate plant or equipment, do not attend site as the appointed contractor and do not carry out the physical work.
What the appointed supplier is responsible for
Responsibility for the following rests with the supplier appointed for the work: waste transfer documentation and consignment documentation; licences and permits; risk assessments and method statements; insurance; its own quotations and advice; staff, vehicles and equipment; site attendance; work quality; and aftercare. You should check a supplier’s credentials and terms before you instruct it.
No charge to you
Customers pay nothing to submit an enquiry through this website or to be introduced to a supplier; there is no cost to the customer for either. Suppliers or third-party companies may pay us commission, referral income, marketing fees or sales income. No website-use fee is added for the customer because of that commercial arrangement.
Quotations and contracts are with the supplier
Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing, any quotation, estimate, order, booking, call-out, site visit, service contract or supply contract is made between you and the supplier. Before authorising work, you must read and agree the supplier’s own terms.
The appointed supplier controls disposal routes, waste charges, permit requirements, prices, minimum charges, cancellation terms, attendance windows, emergency call-out arrangements and additional work. Where the scope alters after a supplier has reviewed the site, the supplier may change its quotation or decline the work.
What an introduction does and does not promise
An introduction is based on the information available at the time it is made. We give no guarantee of supplier availability, nor that a supplier will accept the job or complete it within a particular timescale, nor that the price a supplier quotes will meet your expectations.
We may use your details to decide which supplier appears to be a good fit. That decision does not guarantee that the supplier is the cheapest, the only suitable supplier, or the best supplier in every circumstance. It remains your responsibility to decide whether to instruct a supplier.
Part 3: Your information and responsibilities
Describing the chemical waste job
When you contact us or a supplier, you are responsible for giving information that is accurate, complete and current. This includes:
- a description of the waste;
- quantities;
- known contamination;
- hazards;
- photographs;
- the site address;
- access limits;
- confined-space concerns;
- height or lifting constraints;
- the drainage layout;
- any deadline that affects the work.
Documents and site details for the supplier
Where a supplier is introduced, you must provide it with what it needs to assess health and safety, environmental risk, site access and the scope of the job. That may include Safety Data Sheets, waste codes, permit information, photographs, previous survey results, tank or drainage plans, site-specific rules, induction requirements and parking arrangements.
A supplier may refuse to proceed if site conditions are different from the information given, if it has a safety concern, if required documentation has not been provided, or if the work is outside its permissions, insurance or competence.
What you must not do
You must not submit information that is false, misleading, unlawful or abusive, confidential third-party information without authority, or information you have no permission to share. You must not use this website in any way that interferes with its operation, or that attempts to gain unauthorised access to systems, data or supplier information.
How we use your enquiry details

Part 4: Liability
Suppliers are independent
Each third-party supplier is an independent business. Suppliers are not employees of Chemical Waste Disposal, and we are not responsible for a supplier’s waste handling, regulatory compliance, documentation, advice, pricing, delays, acts, omissions, staff conduct, work quality, damage or loss, unless the law says we cannot exclude that responsibility.
Should an issue arise once you have instructed a supplier, you should raise it with that supplier directly and as soon as possible. Investigating and resolving issues connected with its quotation, attendance, work or aftercare falls to the supplier.
The limits of our liability
Where it would be unlawful to do so, we do not exclude or limit liability. That includes liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, what we do is limited to operating the website and, where appropriate, making introductions.
Once an introduction has been made, any dispute, loss, delay, damage, cost or claim arising between you and a third-party supplier is not our legal responsibility. This applies where those matters concern the supplier’s work, advice, attendance, contract terms, payment terms or service quality.

Intellectual property
The relevant rights holder owns, or holds a licence for, the intellectual property in this website: its text, design, branding, page layouts, logos and other materials. Pages may be viewed and printed by you to support your own internal decision-making. Without permission, you must not copy, scrape, republish, sell or reuse substantial parts of the website.
