Chemical Waste Disposal collects and disposes of chemical waste for businesses, public organisations and private properties. Jobs run from a handful of containers holding known products to clearances of old stock, damaged packaging and substances still to be identified.
Knowing what is in the container
Everything starts with an accurate description of the waste. Before deciding how material is handled, we look at the original product, how it was used, any contamination and the state of its packaging. Incompatible substances are kept apart, and uncertain material remains identified as such until there is enough information to classify it.
Some waste can go on a routine collection. Other material first needs identifying, repackaging or checking further, and we explain which applies, including anything that changes once the containers have been inspected. You should know what is being taken away, what preparation it needs and the reason for it.
Labs, schools, factories and homes
We work for laboratories, schools and colleges, hospitals and other healthcare sites, construction projects, factories and public bodies, and for householders clearing a garage or outbuilding. Chemicals are often stored where people are still working or living, so access, nearby activity and the condition of the store all shape how a collection is carried out, with the aim of avoiding unnecessary risk to people, property and anything left on site.
